101 Uses for the iPad Camera
?The iPad camera provides incredible opportunities for individuals with disabilities to fully participate in all life activities. This workshop will demonstrate over 100 apps that use photos, videos, and scanned images captured with the iPad camera to support individuals who experience vision, hearing, communication, intellectual, and neurobehavioral impairments. Participants will learn how to use the camera to:- Capture, scan, edit, organize, and share photos and videos
- Magnify images
- Create instructional materials
- Promote skill acquisition
- Encourage creative play
- And much more!
Participants will have access to an iPad during the session but are encouraged to bring their own iPad 2 or 3 if they have one.
Series Description:
The iPad is changing the classroom?bringing hands-on, creative learning opportunities to all students, especially students with disabilities. Its accessibility, reasonable cost, and plethora of available applications make it an incredible resource for both students and teachers. Join us for these two-hour afternoon sessions and discover the basics of how to operate your iPad, new techniques to engage students in interactive learning, and a world of powerful apps to support individuals with disabilities.
Participants in this workshop are eligible for 2 staff development credits/hours, and .2 UNH continuing education units (CEUs).
